Weekend! Weekend! Does everyone fully grasp the excitement of having an unexpected holiday thrown at you? Three day weekends are terrific. I suppose everyone knows that already but I feel like gloating.
You know, wheels are incredible inventions. We have them on our desks, and we had a semi-spontaneous desk-moving party tonight. We reconfigured the room (in our heads) with G a few times last night, and it suddenly wouldn't just do but for us to have caddy-cornered desks. It looks really cute, although perhaps will not help us out a whole lot in the long run with finding a place to put a bed. Sometimes I don't really feel like we'll ever get everything put away. Maybe we won't. Maybe we'll just live amidst boxes and clutter for the Rest Of Our Lives. Speaking of Lives, I rather miss listening to Days of our Lives in the afternoon. Not to sound like a stereotype, bemoaning the absence of a soap opera at work.
Tomorrow is a Morehead day, and with any luck, we'll get the last of the stuff from the trailer and give it a good (or semi-good) cleaning. M also wants to do some mandolin work while we're there, and I'm insisting on eating at La Finca's (mexican restaraunt). I really don't want to go but I've convinced myself that if we do, we can stay home (or rather, not go to Morehead) on Saturday and Sunday both. That's good because I have some stuff I need to do for MM, because I'm such a slacker lately with that.
I'm boring even myself, so I'll go back to reading soap spoilers and pretending that I have a clue as to what's going on. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
