Weekends are so nice. Why must they end? *sigh* I am not feeling so terrific at the moment, but I'm hoping that I'm just tired. The not-Morehead weekends are lovely and slow and lazy, and even though they're only two days instead of three, they tend to be more relaxing. Except, they're over in a heartbeat.

My husband is playing Survivor with his Sims. (I think most of you would be familiar with the concept, at least.. The Sims is about running virtual households full of virtual people where you get them through their careers and fulfill their basic needs, etc.) Tell me if this would disturb you. He creates a household full of people--four men, four women, and because this is M, they are all nude. (Perhaps to kill the pain of never having an internet porn star lifestyle, his Sims are often naked. I think it amuses him to see them walking around interacting with strangers with no clothes on. He is weird.) We call these "people factories" because originally, we created them in order to have people for other households to make friends with. There is a certain madhouse appeal to them, though. Anyway, he had a group of four Sims who kept fighting, and so he locked them in a tower to die. It is worth noting, perhaps, that these four were all male. When three of them had given up their mortal forms, he declared the fourth one the winner and in reward, gave him a door.

Kay, I have now sunk to new lows and am blogging about a computer game. Great.

There is one other thing that is new and exciting.. new as in this week anyway. We are going to go away for our anniversary next month! I have a four day weekend and M is going to take those two days off and we're heading to Gatlinburg (probably) again. It was briefly discussed going somewhere else but.. it's us, and this is what we do, so we probably will stick with the Gatlinburg plan. I am looking forward to it immensely. Five more weeks, though! (Six until our anniversary.. we're going the weekend before.) I suggested that we could go to Vegas, and then M pointed out that it is so not our thing, and I had to agree when I thought about it. We're just not the gambling type.

That's about it. More than I really thought I had to say, none of which means much. Time to go start on The Shadow Rising.
