First of all, I would like to say that I do not have to go to work again until next Tuesday. Life is good. :) I thought today would be terrible, as yesterday I was extremely distractable and anxious. But I guess having the closing over with made all the difference because today went by pretty easily. Although I will be working harder than I would at work so I'm not sure it's that great of a deal either. :)
This evening there was more house work, of course. The original plan was to go over, clean the garage so we'd have a place to stack boxes and clean the bathroom enough to use tomorrow. We kind of didn't get into the garage-cleaning, but oh, well. What we did end up doing was bringing our stacks of boxes of books over... at least the ones that we've packed. We're still missing a few. We cleaned off the bookshelves in the living room and unloaded all the boxes. My mom will probably fuss at me for doing something like that before finishing the cleaning, but you can barely move around in here for the boxes stacked everywhere, so I thought it was kind of worth it. We will sort these and rearrange them completely differently and replace a lot of them with later arrivals, but it made a big difference in how the living room looks. Almost like home...

We've scheduled our phone to switch over to the new house tomorrow. Mainly this is because we don't really use the telephone anyway, and it takes one to two business days after telephone activation before the DSL is available, and we wanted to make sure we had internet as soon as possible because we are addicted like that. Soo.. tonight is the last internet access we have for a while. It should be available at least by Friday, but who knows what state our computers will be in then? Not sure if the backup dialup account will work, so there's a theoretical chance that the laptop could aid us in our internet fix, but I also figure we'll be a little busy anyway. Anyway, we'll be back soon, I hope. Otherwise you can bet that I will be very sad.
