undramatic

I am excited that this is an election year in that I am excited that whats-his-face will finally be out of office, but I am already sick of the hating. I am sick of the offensive emails and of the nasty campaigns and meaningless rhetoric. And it's only January!

I would like to say that the very nice lady working in customer service at UPS went above and beyond the call of duty. My mom missed a second notice of delivery today (though she didn't actually get a first notice yesterday) for something I had ordered for her, so I called in to try to figure something out--she'll be out of town on Monday when they wanted to come back. Not only did she agree to put in a request to meet the driver somewhere, she called my mom later to say that she had been in touch with the driver, and he would make a second delivery that evening. I have really never heard of them trying again in the same day. She was lovely. I love it when you talk to someone who does their job well.

M got a flat tire on the way home. He fixed it. The end. Wow, that story was amazing!

I am feeling entirely undramatic today. I clearly had better go play Super Mario Galaxy instead of posting.
