Hey, cool! I ordered something from Amazon last night, and was apparently too dumb to select the free shipping option. I noticed it this morning, that I had paid $5.97 for shipping accidentally, and... felt all sorts of dumb and bad. So, I... wrote to complain anyway, even though I knew it was my fault. (Don't you just love people like me?) And, it totally worked! They gave me a credit for the shipping even though I placed my order incorrectly. They sent me a slightly condescending email, but hey, six dollar error corrected, so who cares about the tone of their email? :) Not me!

Squeaky wheel, etc etc.

Oh, and one more thing? Boyo just mopped the kitchen and bathroom. I knew I married him for a good reason. It feels like an early Christmas present!

I really, REALLY need to get back to work already.

I ordered a bunch of gifts for my family from Amazon and had them sent directly to my Mom's house. They charged just under five dollars per package to wrap them so I only had my Mom's gift wrapped and wrote ahead to ask her to wrap the others for me. So what did stupid Amazon do? They put a note right on top of the wrapped package stating the contents of it! Why the heck do they think people want it wrapped in the first place? And for heaven's sake you'd think they could offer free gift wrapping like every other company this time of year. Anyhow, they'll be getting a letter from me soon too! haha

Five dollars EACH for wrapping?! That's insane! And then to put a list on top with the contents? That's just silly. I wonder if they know what people want gift wrapping for? Good luck, maybe they'll refund your five bucks at least. :)
