gross baby

Yesterday, I pulled a beetle out of my child's mouth. It was unspeakably gross, and yet, not so gross as it would have been mere seconds later. I saw her put something in her mouth and flew across the room to intervene, and thus, the bug was whole and unchewed. I cannot even imagine the revulsion caused by removing it in pieces. Seriously, I can't get her to eat zucchini bread but she will eat a bug? Kids are really, really dopey.

M vacuumed today. Perhaps we will not have a repeat of this episode.

Ewwwww! Blech! Gross! I think I would have thrown up right after I got it out.

Yeah, it was pretty gross. I already had it pulled out (and so blessedly whole) before I figured out what it was.. that all helped. I was too busy running her into the bathroom to wash her mouth out--yeah, I know that wouldn't really help but it made ME feel better--to give in to the temptation to hurl. ;)
